What's the maximum amount of RAM that can go in the iMac?

Asked by AJ B.

Answer:

The last version of the iMac (2011) officially supports a maximum of 16GB of RAM (4GB is the default configuration). However, thanks to some new modules the iMac can now support up to 32GB of RAM in its four memory slots. Vist Apple Sliced Memory to determine which iMac model you have and find its memory options.
