Answer:

First make sure you have a cellular data plan that allows for tethering. Once you do, you can enable it by launching the Settings app on your iPhone and then going to General > Cellular > Personal Hotspot. Toggle Personal Hotspot to the on position and you will then find directions to connect via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or USB.
