Yes, it is possible to search for text on a page in Safari for iOS 7. Open any website, tap on its URL at the top of the window, then clear the URL. Type your search query into the address bar and then scroll down to the section that says "On This Page". Tap on "Find phrase" and you will then be taken to the first instance of that phrase on the page. You can then tap arrows on the screen to cycle through any subsequent mentions of that phrase.
