How Do I Refresh A Finder Window In OS X?

Question: How Do I Refresh A Finder Window In OS X?

Is there a way to refresh the contents of a Finder window in OS X?

Asked by Loren B.

Answer:

There isn’t a perfect way to refresh Finder windows in OS X. You can, however, force a refresh by hitting the back button and then forward button in the window. Or you can open a folder within the window and hit the back button. Another option is to Force Quit (Command+Option+Escape) the Finder.
