How Do I Make Everything Bigger On My Screen?

Question:

I'm having trouble reading things on my laptop. Is there a way to make everything bigger on my screen?
- Asked by George M. January 22nd, 2011

Answer:

In Mac OS X, the easiest way to make everything bigger on your screen is to decrease the screen resolution.

First, click on the Apple menu on the top left of your screen and select System Preferences. Click on the Displays icon and then make sure the Display tab is highlighted. There will be a list of screen resolutions on the left side of the window. The smaller the number, the larger everything will appear. Experiment with different numbers until you find the setting that looks best to you.
