Answer:

Starting in iOS 5, Apple has given users the option to hide App Store purchases. This is useful if you have purchased something in the past, removed it from your iPhone, and don’t want it showing up under your App Store purchases list.

To hide an app, go to the App Store on your iPhone and selected the Updates tab. Choose Purchases at the top of the screen. From there, find the app you want to hide and make a horizontal swipe across it. A hide button will appear. Select it and you’re all set.
