Yes, there have been reports from some users with the 2012 version of the MacBook Pro Retina Display. The updated 2013 MacBook Pro Retina Display has reportedly made a few internal updates so this problem has been resolved.
It's unknown how widespread this issue is with the MacBook Pro Retina Display, but it seems to be happening to users who receive a retina display manufactured by LG (some displays are made by Samsung). If you have encountered this problem, take your MacBook Pro to a Genius Bar for service.
