Does iMac Have Bluetooth?

Question: Does iMac Have Bluetooth?

I keep hearing about cool things Bluetooth can do. Do the iMacs have it?

Asked by Lani G.

Answer:

Yes, the iMac has Bluetooth.

Each iMac comes installed with AirPort Extreme 802.11n Wi-Fi wireless networking, Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) wireless technology, and 10/100/1000BASE-T Gigabit Ethernet (RJ-45 connector).

The iMac’s Wireless Keyboard and Magic Mouse both use Bluetooth technology.

Bluetooth is a wireless connection that lets you exchange data over short distances. That works well for integrating your iMac with other devices.
